The Spice Bazaar is located in the Eminönü quarter of the Fatih district. It was built in 1660 and has 88 stores. It is the most famous covered shopping complex after the Grand Bazaar. This bazaar has also been known as the Egyptian Bazaar which was a place for selling spice.
Nowadays, most stores still sell spices, and the existence of these shops has given this place a special attraction.
One of the benefits of this place is that it is located near other attractions such as Süleymaniye Mosque, Sultanahmet Square, Eminönü district, Galata Tower and Rüstem Pasha Mosque.
This bazaar is open every day from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM and is closed on holidays. On Sundays, it is open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
