Fatih mosque is located in the European section of Istanbul and in Fatih section. This mosque was built by the command of Ottoman emperor, Sultan Mehmed II, in 1470. This is the first mosque built by the Ottoman Empire. This mosque is located on one of the highest hills in Istanbul and is very close to a number of other tourist attractions.
